Well after being displaced for just a little over 2 months, I finally have my computer set back up and time to update our blog. The basement is finally finished. Rachel has her own room and we are all trying to get back into a somewhat normal routine again. We had a great Christmas and had a wonderful time with family and friends over the holidays. The last few months have been crazy with construction and trying to get everything accomplished. But we are so grateful to be back home. After a three day battle with Rachel not sleeping in her own room on her crib mattress(I didn't want to set her crib back and was wondering about a toddler bed) we got out the queen bed and she started started sleeping in her own room finally. We are still trying to pull it all together and figure out where we stashed everything for the last few, so we can all get back to normal...or atleast our version of it anyway. So here are a few pictures from Christmas time and the finished basement.

WOW what a change the basement is. It looks good. Glad that things are starting to get back normal. Whatever that is. Love you all.
The basement looks fabulous! Congratulations on having made it through everything. I am glad you finally updated this. It's fun to read. Rachel is ADORABLE!
